Great turn out for the weekend in Klamath Falls, Saturday had 24 trio teams hit the lanes for the Swiss tournament, great time by all.
Sunday had a full squad of doubles teams for the annual champion/non- champion tournament, 96 bowlers from Oregon, California and Washington. At the end of the qualifying round it was Ball and Nelson leading at +366 and 16th place into match play was Breshears and Dean at +163.
Match play was pretty tight all the way with the 5th game determining the top 3 into the stepladder finals. Ball and Nelson had a big set to jump to 1st at +515 followed by Davis and Hamer +450 and Reed Sr and Reed Jr +436.
In the first match Davis and Hamer defeated Reed and Reed 465-461. Final match was Ball and Nelson defeating Davis and Hamer 478-395. Congratulations to Ball and Nelson on a great tournament and Nelson to his first SOBA title.
We had 1 honor score as Dave Wooley shot 300 last game of qualifying.
High individual woman out of the money was Michelle Smith +53, $100 courtesy Caveman Bowl.
High game out of the money woman was Shelby Miller 222, $50 courtesy Epicenter
High man out of the money was a tie at 289, Ralph Jennings and Brian Meeker, $25 each courtesy Epicenter.
As always thank you to our sponsors, Columbia 300, Caveman Bowl, Epicenter and Mancave Pro Shop for all you do for the game of bowling and our organization.
Thank you to Patti, Trina and Randy for a well run Saturday and Sunday.
Thank you to Garret Ball, Jeff Fox and Mark Hanken for Ball Talk seminar on Saturday.
