With the passing of Andy Anderson the SOS has an opportunity to set a worlds record for the longest name of a bowling tournament. I want to dedicate our doubles to Andy. So the name of the tournament will be the SOUTHERN OREGON SENIORS YOUNG GUY/OLD GUY AND LADIES, ANDY ANDERSON MEMORIALTOURNAMENT. I feel this long name is fitting this year to symbolize Andy's long life and dedication to the game we love.
Next year we will shorten it to the Andy Anderson under/over doubles. See all of you tomorrow the 24th of Feb. at Showtime. 9:00 check in 9:30 practice start at 9:50am.

Very cool, Bob. Hope you have enough room on the trophy for the engraving

To respond to your message Crank. We will not have a trophy this year because it would take the entire prize fund to have trophy's engraved. So we will have to wait till next year to give out trophies. But it's the thought that counts. BOB

Well what an honor, Garret Ball and I have won the first Andy Anderson Under/Over Doubles. There won't be another tournament that means as much to me as Andy has been a part of my life since I was teenager. My family and I all worked for him at one time or another. It makes me smile to read about what others said about his hand shake, we all got suckered into that famous hand shake which he truly enjoyed giving. We will all greatly miss Andy Anderson as he has touched all of our lives in a positive way.
