Thanks to all the new recruits that supported Roxy Ann and the Southern Oregon All-Stars. We hope you all can join us next month at Caveman Bowl in Grants Pass Oregon. It was good to see some new faces and old come together and enjoy a Sunday full of ups and downs. If i have my info correct 8 of 32 recruits made the top 24 or cashed in this event. Jake Dryer gets the long distance award for recruiting Steve Mead from 3000 miles away. Oh and seeing Mead go too a knee and point out what he thought was a four bagger and leaving the 1,2,4, was old times in the aspect of camaraderie and friendship on the lanes. Steve it was a pleasure to see you again and don't make this the last time. Once again thanks to all who bowled and see you in G.P. Wynn

What a great atmosphere this weekend. I would like to give some props to McCleary and Sendlebach for facilitating and keeping the tournament running smooth. To Lela for being pro active with the recruiters idea (she gave back $4 per bowler for this tournament). Congrats to Josh Smith for making the cut and then shooting 300 in his final game. It felt like the way it's supposed to be. SOAS bowlers give yourselves a pat on the back, and let's do it again at Caveman next month. Happy Holidays, RRC ps. Wynn........its Dreier, you would think that an Eagle winner would know his teammates

I would like to add a Thank-you to Tom Cook as a sponsor of the Roxy Ann All Stars. Tom is a zealous and avid bowler and willingly supports bowling with his wallet. He is a sponsor of the PBA at Lava Lanes again this year, and I would like to extend this message to all bowlers: If you need financial assistance, I personally can speak for Edward Jones. Tom Cook would appreciate it, and the bowling community would continue to benefit from it. Peace and Happy Holidays Randy C

Just a correction here; I slid it out on one knee and pointed at Garrett Ball because all I needed was three pins to beat him that game and he had been talking some serious trash along the way. I knew that I was gonna miss the head pin. I also knew that it wasn't going towards the 6-10 pocket. Garrett got even the next game by literally winning the shirt off of my back. All in all, I had a great time in spite of the fact that I REALLY sucked. I'll be back whenever possible for more fun with great bowlers who also happen to be great folks.
