Gregg, Courtney and I want to once again thank everyone for their thoughts and support during the past 3 months. For everyone that has had an interest in her condition and would like an update - here it is.
Courtney had her 3 month MRI yesterday and it was clear - YIPEE!!! Her care has now been transferred from the neuro-surgeon to the neuro-oncologist. The oncologist will be the one in charge of her MRI's from now on and determining any treatment she may need. For now, she will not need chemo or radiation - and probably won't unless future MRI's show something suspicious. For now, we will take it 3 months at a time. Her next MRI will be in November and we will know more then. They are saying that she has a low chance of recurrance - but because they cannot give up a no chance, she will need to be monitored forever.
As far as her recovery from surgery - physically, she is progressing well and is doing good. Emotionally, she still has her ups and downs, but the brain tissue is healing very well. She has developed some scar tissue around one of the screws in her skull so she has a bump - and probably will from now on. They thought she was leaking brain fluid - but it turns out that it is scar tissue - thank goodness.
We ask that you continue to keep her in your thoughts and prayers - as this road is a very long one, but so far - very good news.

Thank you Carla for the update. Pattie and I hope and pray that the Bennetts get some relief from all the stress and anxiety of having to go through this. May you enjoy many years of "normal" stress.
