Well another season has come to an end, all that's left is Grand Finals.
We had a great weekend of bowling in Roseburg , 18 teams for the Swiss on Saturday and 90 entries for the Main event on Sunday.
Needless to say it was a demanding shot, required consistency and duplicating over and over and if you managed that then you were lucky to make it to the top 24. Bends Mike Bouvia was the top qualifier at +150 with last in was a tie at +30 Rick Snead and Don Woolard and last check to Timothy Howell at +22.
Match play was very exciting as it came down to the last ball to see who made the top 5 for the step ladder, Warren Crawford needed to throw a strike to stay in the top 5 or it would let his opponent Michelle Smith in, needles to say he did it and Michelle finished 6th.
End of match play was Rick Snead at +310, Tom Cook +304, Kyle Vick 238 and Brian Sendelbach and Warren Crawford at +233.
Step ladder
Crawford def Sendelbach 206-202
Crawford def Vick 247-218
Crawford def Cook 286-185
Snead def Crawford 210-192
Congratulations to Rick on another SOBA title and securing player of the year.
