Well 2nd tournament of the year in the books. Great weekend in Bend, started Saturday with Ball Talk put on by Garret Ball, Jeff Fox and Mark Hanken. This was a pretty interesting seminar to understand different characteristics about how and why your ball reads the lane. Following this seminar was EBI Demo Days put on by Strikers Pro Shop with Mike Snellbaker, Thomas Ault Jr, Evan Nash and Ryan Besaw. Then we went into a Pro Am with the local bowlers of Bend , great day.
Sunday singles had 86 bowlers hitting the lanes for 5 games of qualification, with Kennewick WA., Evan Nash leading the field at +289 and 24th place into match play going to Eugene's Jay Baker at +84 and last check going to Jim Milliman at +72.
Match play was pretty tight all the way through for the top 5 position and in the end it was Redding CA., Anthony Thompson holding to the top spot followed by Scott Helstowski, Evan Nash, Adam Silverthorn and Thomas Ault.
Ault def Silverthorn 222-171
Nash def Ault 210-190
Nash def Helstowski 246-217
Thompson def Nash 279-247
