Well better late than not at all, sorry had trouble logging in.
Another great weekend of bowling, 20 teams on Saturday for the swiss and 81 bowlers on Sunday for the singles.
The shot seemed to play a little tougher on Sunday than it did on Saturday but there were some that seemed to have no trouble and at the end of qualifying it was Don Woolard on top at +177 and 24th into match play was Ryan Besaw at -14. Last check for 27th went Charles Sanders at -18.
Match play got real interesting for some and others seemed to have little or no trouble as in the 3rd game Anthony Thompson shot the first 300 of the tournament and 2 games later Warren Crawford finished match play with a perfect 300 game to keep him at the #1 seed into the stepladder at +471, with 5th into the stepladder was Rick Snead at +199
First match had Snead defeating Tinsley 201-189, following that Snead defeated Chris Warren 217-216. The third match was also down to the last ball as Anthony Thompson defeated Rick Snead 221-213.
The final match had Warren Crawford defeating Thompson 216-176, Congratulations to Warren on his 2nd SOBA title.
Tona Thompson made match play ( finishing 9th) nice bowling Tona, so Vanessa Chenoweth was high woman out of the money.
Thank you as always to our sponsors, Columbia, Caveman Bowl and Man Cave Pro shop.
Thank you Patti and Trina you 2 do a great job and are well appreciated.
Thank you Randy and Garett for all your work on Saturday.
Thank you to Kevin and all the staff at Caveman
And especially thanks to all of you who are coming and bowling, because without you we would not be what we are.
