Nominations for officers for 2008-2009 season

SOAS will be taking names for any interested parties for SOAS officers and board members for the 2008-2009 seasons as well as taking applications for anyone who is interested in being considered for the position of Tournament Director. We will be adding these persons to the list of current officers, board members and TD who wish to stay in their current roles to hold elections for the 2008-09 season. The elections will take place at North Bend and all members who are unable to attend the North Bend Tournament will have an opportunity to mail a ballot to current Secretary Debbie Baerman to have their vote counted.

Other details will be made available at a latter date. We would like to make sure everyone has an opportunity to run for the position that they would like to seek in an effort to help run the organization.

Thanks for the response. I am sure Greg will let me know if he wishes to run. I want to clarify for everyone that we are looking for interested parities to notify us themselves, so that we can avoid any confusion on who would truly like to run for office and who might feel they are obligated due to someone else's nomination.
