I know that there has been some questions regarding what constitutes a "champion" for this event and thought that we as an organization should clarify this early, so that there are no misunderstandings of whom can bowl together and such forth. I will let Bob, Randy, Pattie, or Trena speak to the rule here. I know that there are questions of what specific organizations count as a title, such as ABT, 7 gamers up north, North State All Stars, and Sr. scratch events such as the over / under doubles, etc....
I also thought it might be a good idea for the SOBA members to have the sign up entry for the doubles be posted early on the message board, so those bowlers who want to bowl but do not have a partner can see who already has a partner and who might be looking for a partner. I know this would personally reduce the number of text messages I receive from 317 weekly to a mere 100 approximately on the subject (cough, Snead, cough).
Perhaps we could have a thread for teams that are bowling, then have singles looking for a partner post their names and state whether they are a champion or non-champion. While it might be a logistical nightmare, I would love to see us challenge the OBA's 70 teams that they have signed up for their doubles this weekend.
